Reopen closed Alerts that need further action or if you’ve closed them by mistake. Monitor logs each time you or someone else closes or reopens an Alert in the Notes and Activity tab of the Alert details drawer.
Before you begin
- You must have the Safeguarding Contact role.
Reopen individual closed alerts
- In Monitor > Alerts, select an Alert to view the Event Details page.
- Select the checkbox next to the closed alert in the dashboard or select the Alert to open the details drawer.
- Change the Alert’s status:
- From the Change status dropdown: Select either New or In Progress.
- From the Details drawer: On the Overview tab, select Change status and choose the new status from the dropdown menu. Confirm the change by selecting the check icon.
- (Optional) Select Add Note to add a note for the new status.
- Select Yes on the prompt.
Reopen multiple closed alerts
- In Monitor > Alerts dashboard, select the checkboxes next to the closed Alerts.
- Select the new status from the Change status dropdown that appears at the bottom of the screen.
Note
You can only apply one status to multiple Alerts at a time.
- The new status will appear in the Status column.
