"Discriminatory hate speech" refers to hate speech intended to discriminate against a group of people on the basis of religion, gender identity or ability, among others.

The user is using unintentional microaggressions - such as using outdated terms for a disability or making assumptions about a religious practice - that create friction but do not show clear discriminatory malice. |
| 2 | The user has made low-level bullying comments disguised as jokes, relying on subtle stereotypes targeting a user's identity, such as religion or gender. |
| 3 | The user has made an explicitly discriminatory or hateful statement directed at another person based on their identity or ability once. |
| 4 | The user has recently made a seriously abusive and degrading comment (or comments) directed at another person, specifically weaponising their identity or ability to cause severe emotional distress. |
| 5 | The user has made multiple extremely hateful, discriminatory statements directed at another person based on identity or ability within a short timeframe. |
