This guide lists the platforms that Monitor supports and describes the updating requirements for each platform.

Update Monitor for macOS and Windows 

Monitor does not auto-update for macOS and Windows devices. You must download and install the latest Monitor client installer from either of these locations:

  • Within Monitor: Go to Monitor > Organisation (Select Edit) > Clients. Select the operating system, then Get.
  • Smoothwall Software Page: Go to software.smoothwall.com and select the installer under Monitor Client.

Monitor automatically updates on managed iOS and ChromeOS devices.

Check if your devices have the latest version of Monitor in Monitor > Organisation > Devices. See Finding devices running old versions of Monitor.
