Events are categorised as Violence when Monitor and the Moderators detect a person who:
- Communicates threats of bodily injury or death to a person
- Engages in physical force intending to hurt or damage a person or property
- Physically intimidates, harasses or is violent towards others
- Performs detailed research or shows interest in weapons or guns
- Is the target of threats of physical injury or death
The risk levels are identified for a user who has:

| 2 | Engaged in research once in recent history about the specific damage guns and/or other weapons can cause with no context relating to acceptable research |
| 3 | Engaged in research several times in recent history to the specific damage guns and/or other weapons can cause with no context relating to acceptable research |

Made a physically threatening statement once in recent history Shown interest recently in purchasing guns and/or other weapons based on the type of damage they can cause Performed detailed research into the types of damage different types of weapons and/or bullets can cause Related, lower risk-level Events frequently reported in recent history |

Made several, physically threatening statements in recent history Made frequent physical threats towards individuals involving guns and/or other weapons in recent history |
